04 / ABOUT

I learned the value of good support long before I started Hardesty Bookkeeping.

My wife was a successful entrepreneur, and much of my role was behind the scenes—taking responsibility for repetitive but important tasks so she could concentrate on the bigger picture. I discovered that I genuinely enjoyed bringing order to necessary work and giving someone else the freedom to focus on what they did best.

During ten years with a major corporation, that instinct became a professional skill. I learned the importance of accuracy, consistency, organized systems, and careful recordkeeping while developing extensive experience with Excel.

More recently, working alongside small-business owners and tradespeople showed me the same need again: skilled professionals doing excellent work while their financial records competed for limited time.

Hardesty Bookkeeping grew from a simple idea: I can help with that.
